1. Prohibited and restricted items
Do not list anything unlawful, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, subject to an applicable sales ban, or outside Valdeni's supported categories.
Valdeni may remove or restrict an item where the information available creates a reasonable authenticity, ownership, safety or legal concern. A listing can remain unavailable while evidence is reviewed.
- Counterfeit goods and unauthorised replicas.
- Stolen goods or goods the seller is not entitled to sell.
- Dangerous, recalled or materially unsafe products.
- Weapons, illegal drugs, regulated medicines, tobacco or other age-restricted goods not expressly supported.
- Pornographic, exploitative or illegal sexual content.
- Items that unlawfully infringe copyright, trade marks, design rights or privacy.
2. Listing standards
Use your own accurate photographs and a truthful description. Disclose defects, alterations, missing parts and authenticity information that a reasonable buyer would need.
Do not manipulate category, brand, condition, price or location information to gain exposure. Do not create duplicate or misleading listings.
A creative promotional video is allowed only where it accurately represents the listed item and complies with media and safety rules.
3. Member conduct
Treat other members respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, shame, discriminate against, sexually exploit, groom, scam or impersonate another person.
Do not send spam, malicious links, unsolicited marketing, explicit content, or requests to move a transaction outside Valdeni's payment and safety processes.
Do not misuse personal information learned through an order, delivery or conversation. Contact details supplied for fulfilment may be used only for that transaction and legal record keeping.
4. Protection of minors
Valdeni is for people aged 13 or older. Members under 18 receive higher-privacy defaults and restricted messaging, profiling and media features.
Any sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, grooming, coercion, trafficking, or solicitation of sexual material is prohibited. Valdeni can preserve evidence, restrict accounts and make a legally required report to the relevant authority.
Do not ask a minor to bypass age controls, move to an unsafe channel, disclose unnecessary personal information or meet privately.
5. Reports and review
Members can report a listing, profile, message or transaction for counterfeit goods, prohibited items, scams, misleading content, stolen media, harassment, spam, inappropriate content or another safety concern.
Authorised reviewers consider the reported material, relevant context, transaction records and submitted evidence. Access to private messages is case-scoped, role-limited and audited.
Valdeni may remove content, limit reach, pause a transaction, restrict a capability, suspend an account or refer a matter to a provider or authority. The action taken depends on severity, confidence, recurrence, risk and legal duties.
6. Notice and appeal
Where appropriate and lawful, Valdeni tells the affected member the main reason for a decision and how to appeal. We may withhold information that would expose another person's private data, undermine fraud or safety controls, or prejudice an investigation.
An appeal should explain why the decision is wrong and include relevant evidence. A different or suitably independent reviewer should consider the appeal where practicable.
