1. Seller capacity

You must tell Valdeni whether you sell privately or in the course of a business and update that status if your activity changes. Valdeni can request information where transaction patterns or other evidence indicate that a professional classification may be required.

A private seller is responsible for accurate listings and lawful ownership. A business seller has additional disclosure, cancellation, product-safety, tax and consumer-law duties.

Valdeni's classification supports platform controls but does not determine your legal or tax status conclusively. You are responsible for obtaining advice where needed.

2. Seller Marketplace Fee

For each completed seller order, Valdeni charges 6% of the final item subtotal plus £0.20. The fixed £0.20 component is charged once per seller order, including a same-seller multi-item order.

Delivery is not included in the percentage calculation. Refunds and item-level reversals recalculate the seller fee against the item value retained in the seller order.

Professional registration and Spotlight have separate fees described in their policies and at the point of purchase.

3. Listings and inventory

You must own the item or be authorised to sell it. A listing must use accurate photographs, describe material defects, identify the correct brand and item type, and state a genuine price.

Do not list counterfeit, stolen, recalled, unsafe, prohibited or infringing goods. Do not reuse another person's photographs without permission.

Keep availability current. An item covered by an active hold, paid order or completed sale must not be sold to someone else.

4. Offers and reservations

You may accept, decline or counter an eligible offer. Acceptance creates a 24-hour hold for that buyer. A bundle negotiation covers the exact selected pieces and remains in its dedicated conversation.

You may approve or decline a Paid Reserve request before the buyer pays. If you end an active paid hold early through no fault of the buyer, the reservation fee is refunded.

Do not use offers or reservations to demand off-platform payment or to avoid marketplace fees and safeguards.

5. Dispatch and order support

Maintain an active default dispatch address, choose accurate parcel information, use the booked service and dispatch within the applicable ship-by period.

Respond reasonably to order, return, authenticity, carrier and safety cases. Preserve relevant proof of posting, listing evidence and communication until the transaction is resolved.

You remain responsible for paid orders even if Valdeni restricts new listings, promotion or payouts.

6. Proceeds, payouts and adjustments

Seller proceeds are released through the payment-provider and ledger flow after the order becomes eligible. Valdeni does not provide a consumer wallet.

A payout can be delayed for an open dispute, refund, chargeback, verification requirement, fraud review, legal obligation or provider restriction. We will explain the main reason where permitted.

Refunds, chargebacks, promotion fees and other valid adjustments can reduce pending or future seller proceeds.

7. Seller restrictions and appeals

Valdeni may pause new selling, listing publication, promotion or payout eligibility where information is overdue, a safety risk exists, or compliance review is needed. Measures should be proportionate and should not erase existing order obligations.

Where available, use the notice's correction or appeal route. The Complaints and Appeals policy explains how to challenge a platform decision.
